Do I have to subscribe monthly to access the classes?
No. All of our classes are pay-per-use.
I've purchased a class but not yet received the class link. Where is it?
Once you have received an order confirmation email, you can expect to receive one (1) separate email containing your registration information for the class and a link to stream the video live at the specified start date/time.
PLEASE NOTE: It can take approximately ten (10) minutes for you to receive this email containing the class link. If you do not receive this email within thirty (30) minutes of purchase, please contact email@example.com.
Can I use any device to stream the class?
Yes! Students using a laptop or desktop computer will be able to stream the class using their internet browser. At present, students using a tablet or cellular device to stream the class will be prompted to download a third-party video hosting application to stream the class.
Can I stream the class on multiple devices at once?
No. The link you will receive is authentic to you and you will only be able to stream the class using this link on one device at a time.
Does this service use data?
Streaming a live class requires a strong internet connection. It is recommended that you are connected to wifi while streaming a class. Data rates as charged by your service provider will apply. YOGATHOM is not responsible for any data charges that may occur as a result of streaming or downloading a class.
How can I test my internet connection to determine if it is strong enough?
Prior to class purchase, we recommend running an internet speed test to check your network connection.
Using any computer or mobile device,
you may run a test by CLICKING HERE (it’s fast, free, and easy).
NOTE: The internet download speed recommendation for streaming a class on YOGATHOM is 5 Megabits per second.
Once the test is complete, ensure that your speed meets our internet speed recommendation.
YOGATHOM does not issue refunds due to poor internet connectivity on part of the student.
Can I watch the class on a larger screen (such as a TV)?
Yes! Many of our students prefer to watch their classes on a larger television screen and do so by using other hardware such as an HDMI cable or Chromecast* to connect their device. Please be advised however that some Chromecast users have reported experiencing audio/video lag when doing so.
Please note that YOGATHOM does not offer support for use of these options, nor will YOGATHOM issue any refunds to students who experience streaming issues using such options.
What materials will I require for a class?
Typically, we recommend using a yoga mat and having two blocks on hand. Teachers will specify the materials required for their classes in the description of the class provided.
Can the teacher and/or other students in the class see me?
No. All of our general classes allow for students to only view the teacher. Exceptions are only made in the case of some private classes, upon request.
Is music played during the class?
No. To ensure the best experience for all students, background music will not be played. Should you so desire, we recommend playing your own music using a separate device. The Teacher may also offer a link to their suggested playlist, which (if provided by the teacher) will be included in the same email as your class link.
What if I am late for a class?
As our classes are live, if you are joining a class that has already started, you will be joining the class at that live point in time.
What if I miss the class?
If you have completely missed the class which you have purchased, the class recording will be available to you for the next 5 hours.
